An Atmosphere in Which a Miracle Can Happen

Marble Collegiate Church is a microcosm of New York City: We are of many races, ages, professions, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds, and we come from around the corner, around the country and around the world. Under the leadership of Dr. Michael S. Bos, we are an inclusive, non-judgmental, and life-affirming community that welcomes you to explore your journey of faith.

Built in 1854, Marble Church is the oldest building of New York City’s four Collegiate churches. Our church served as the base from which Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, a great religious figure of the 20th Century, launched far-reaching innovations in practical Christianity. It was here that "The Power of Positive Thinking" was born.

Sunday worship - 11:00 am. Wednesday worship - 6:15 pm. A broad range of activities are featured throughout the week.

Leadership

Rev. Dr. Michael Bos is a pastor, author, interfaith proponent, family guy, and adrenaline junkie. In April of 2018, he became the seventh senior minister of Marble Collegiate Church. Prior to this he served as the senior minister of West End Collegiate Church, and he continues to serve as the president of The Collegiate Churches of New York. He has coauthored two books, A Church Beyond Belief and Fragmented Lives: Finding Faith in an Age of Uncertainty. Prior to moving to New York City, he started a new church, pastored a mega-church, and established an interfaith center in the Arabian Peninsula, developing programs with institutions such as Princeton Theological Seminary, the Center for Interfaith Reconciliation, and the U.S. State Department.
